As far as #2, hotels do *not* have inexpensive drinks!! At least, I don't consider $7 for a bottle of killians cheap.. most hotels, you're looking at paying $12 per martini/mixed drink and $5ish per pint. You're better off going to an out-of-the-way pub that DOESNT feature sports tv or live music- both are guaranteed to be loud as anything. The smaller the pub, generally the quieter they are. |
